Hello. I grew up in Kelowna and about 20 years ago used to go out with my family to a spring in Bear Creek area near Westbank. At one point we were told to stop using it because of quality issues but I am not sure of the accuracy of that. I could find out exactly where it is. Have you found any in the meantime? I live in Summerland and am going out to the Summerland Spring for my first time today.

This was my first time going spring hunting and all the information listed here is accurate. Had lots of fun on this adventure in Summerland. The water tastes clean, clear and refreshing which Instantly hydrated me. Now that I know where it is and how easy it was to get to I will be returning frequently. I am surprised though at how few springs there are listed from the Okanagan area. Anyone know of any other rare gems out there closer to Westbank or Kelowna?

My wife and I were at this spring today and met a man that's been getting his water there for 20 years.. He was also a health inspector at the time and now retired.. We asked him where the water came from and he said it was a large aquafier up in the mountains that resides on native land... He said the natives don't mind us getting our water from this location as long as we respect it... I also asked him was it safe to drink he said it was and that he has tested it... This spring is a fantastic find... Thank you for origianlly posting it..

Kind regards
