I harvested some water today. It tastes great, smells a little highish in sulfur. It’s very close to a high traffic road and it seems like there could be the possibility of run-of contamination. The rubber hose isn’t too appealing but there is no noticeable taste from it as it’s pretty short and the water flows quickly. It would be nice to see the TDS and pH as well as contaminant test results for this spring. I’ll see about getting a sample tested if I can and report back.

Hello! Just wondering if you are still drinking this water & whether you got a sample tested. If not could you tell me where to do this myself? Would love any additional info. on this water.

Hi Lucy, I’m not still drinking this water as I live in B.C. I drank it exclusively for two weeks without any problems. Unfortunately I never ended up bringing a sample back home to get tested. The Peterborough Utilities Commission might be a good place to ask about having water tested locally.
