Not sure the described spring is actually Neff's Spring proper but never the less I was at the described spring today (9-25-11) and the pipe was only dripping. Hopefully this is only temporary as I have used this spring for nearly 40 years of hiking in Neff's canyon and it was always running strong even on Thanksgiving.

I measured the pH this morning at 6.9. The water spills from below the catchment tank. Interestingly, as I watched, wishing the water would come out of the pipe instead of from underneath the catchment, the water came rushing out! Water tastes very good, though does not compare to the Moab spring.

I am a bit concerned about the consumption of this spring. This is a popular off dog leash trail that is used year round. Has anyone filled water containers at this site?
