    Went down to this spring today November 6, 2010 and it is closed. Signs posted saying it’s closed, but we went to check it out anyway. No water running from the faucets and no explanation why. :-(

    Hi Dwizzy200. The spring is now open again (it’s been a few weeks), after being closed for approximately 2-3 months due to an electrical problem.

    Did you know you can call the Wompatuk phone number and it will tell you on the recording if the spring is open? It is pretty accurate. I always call before I go, even though I just live a couple miles away. I called every day when it was closed due to the electrical problem. :)
