this has been closed for some time with the local council taking away the pipe. If you drink from the pool, you will get ill.

Hey, Really wanted to check this out because I live close. I called the Council and Parks Victoria who both told me that the Spring has been re-opened and contamination has been cleaned up!

Will check it out some time this week

it is actually on the other side of the road of where indicated, in kays picnic ground.
to find the spring, cross the footbridge 20m west of the carpark and head up the path about 30 meters and turn right just after the log thats lying down.

is this spring still functional and drinkable?

I finally decided to go check this out and via Tim’s directions below I found this pool (images below).

It had flowing water coming through rocks under the small ridge. There is no pipe so what Kevin said could well be true although via my first comment not 1 but 2 places confirmed it was still alive and well!?

I haven’t drank any of the water and am not going to but It certainly is extremely clear and cold. I took a small amount in a glass bottle and held it up to the sun and there was no dirt and it didn’t look yellow or brown at all. Can anyone else shed some light on this mysterious “Spring”.
