A Nice little spring with a black tube sticking out of the wet rock. It is 20 feet from the road and easy to spot.

Between Mile Marker 145-146 on North side of Route 6/Grande Army of the Republic HWY.

Directions from Nearest Address

Leaving Coudersport, PA, heading East on Route 6/Grande Army of the Republic HWY, the spring is is approximately 1/2 Mile after Colsen Road on the left. If you find yourself at the rest stop, you have gone to far.

    I have filled my canteen at that spring. I know it as the Big Fill Hollow Spring. I don’t care for the flavor of the water. I am not familiar with Colsen Road.

    There is a smaller but better-tasting spring on the other side of Denton Hill.
