The hot spring water at Hot Springs National Park becomes heated at a depth of approximately one mile before beginning the journey back to the surface through a fault. The water was tested to be 5,000 years old. You can read more about water from the town of Hot Springs, AR here.

Or discover springs on your own just hike the Gulpha Gorge trail.
I moved to NW Arkansas around a year ago and I have found more springs than I could ever imagine!!! Thanks for the up load Don and Linzi together we can expand the awareness of the “Natural State!!!”
