Huge outpouring but it is in a self contained bld. with public access to look inside of the giganatic flow of this springs- and it menaders down the hill and tunnels under the highway and through a play park where there are swimming area for kids and adults.
Nearest Address
Close to downtown-and the new HEB Store- on US 90 going to the Air Base- the water is being used for Water source- very large outpour- Probably thousands of gallons per minute-being discharged from this natural spring has to be the largest spring in Tx. …but the city chlorinates it – but perhaps there is a way to get the pure water before it is contaminated.- i will journey down there this next week and find out more about it.- maybe get pictures.
Directions from Nearest Address
Going through Del Rio south US 90 to the border and through town and turning left at the New HEB Supermarket-on US 90 South East toward Brackettville and the park is on the right side of the road about a mile after turning left- and directly across from the park on the other side of the highway is the entrance to the spring that is located up on a sloping hill side and the entrance road with lead one right up to it- a place to park and one can get out to see it – which is inside a covering building with open sides for viewing.
