Description:
Spring is visible from the road, it is right on the side of the road. The flow is like that of a kitchen faucet. Metal pipe sticks out of a ‘fireplace’ like structure. VERY LITTLE parking, ON A CURB. Best if you are coming from Ceasar’s Head, so you can park right in front of the spring, no parking on the other side of the road. This was my first trip to the spring, so I was going to go home and test the water. A man pulled up to fill his cup and I asked if he had stopped at this spring before. He said, “many times”. We also saw other cars parked at it on the way up to the park. The water was cold, and had a good taste (reminded me of well water with the mineral content).

A natural spring that flows in the Living History Park. The president of the Olde Towne Preservation Society, the caretakers for the park, had the water tested and was told it was cleaner than what came out of the tap.

Description
“Its beautiful the setting is more natural some of the benches are made from huge rocks the setting also has a lot of large trees and a river which is pretty clear its own self a stones throw, a lot of picnic tables, and the water is good and cold you just dip it right out, non stop flowing.
You just dip it out its concreted around it and pretty deep, take as much as you want its forever free, the taste might be unusual for one at first due to the minerals in it but its really smooth and i believe it maybe has sulphur in it but by the next day that taste is gone, the town grew around the spring itself which was a healing spring dating back to the 1850′s Its in a park and the address above street wise is for the fire department right across the street from the park, there’s picnic tables restrooms and a playground as well.” – Eric Harvey

Several spouts. Well kept. This document from the SC Dept. of Natural Resources has some interesting information about it: http://www.dnr.sc.gov/lwc/pubs/pdfs/scspringslettersize.pdf
Nearest Address
Healing Springs Ct., Blackville, SC
Directions from Nearest Address
I had no trouble finding it by searching for ‘healing springs, blackville, SC’ in google maps. From highway SC-3, turn east on Healing Springs Rd., then turn right after a block or so on to Healing Springs Ct. There’s a church on the corner, which I think maintains the spring. Parking is easy, and right next to the springs.
