The spring is located at a higher elevation, back in the woods and is gravity fed to the basin through 3 inch ceramic pipes. Filling 5 gallon containers is almost impossible unless you bring a siphon hose with you.

Access is directly on the rural country road. Park on the shoulder, ( never any traffic ) and walk 15 feet on brick path to fill area. Spring water flows thru PVC pipe into spigot above plastic basin. A clear hose is provided for filling larger 5 gallon jugs.

Kahe’ta Spring is high quality water which flows from a large aquifer in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest. The spring is set back from the road about 50 feet and not visible from the road, however there is a nice parking area and path leading to the source. The water is amazing, and so are the surroundings!
