This spring is full on year round. Drive up to the very end of Elkford Road (it is indeed a dead end) and walk in about forty feet. Fresh live Clean spring water. the spring it self is up one tier of rock about thirty feet. So the water fall you can see and hear before you even get out of your vehicle is not the actual spring. The Spring itself is about thirty feet from the falls. The neigbourhood has it tested every so often and always crystal clear water. Turbidity can be high after a good storm.

Directions from Nearest Address

From Baker Street, go up the hill on Josepine. Make a left on Gore and take it all the way. Park at the parking lot at the end of Gore. The trail runs right through the parking lot. Walk East with the lake on your left for about 15-20 minutes until you see a massive rock wheel. The creek from the spring runs behind the rock wheel, slightly to the left. There are 2 trails that you can take up. One of them is really close to the right of the wheel and the other is to the left, a bit further down. Walk up either trail for a few minutes and you are there. The trail to the left would be easier if its your first time. The trail on the right of the wheel spits away from a mountain bike trail (to the left) shortly after you start walking up.

Spring at left side of road. Within a few yard of where Kault Hill Rd and Bolton Rd intersect. The source of the pipe is a short distance above the road. There was a makeshift filter on the top end of the pipe, which sits in the middle of the running water. (I did not follow the spring any higher to find it’s source point.)
To get to it, you will drive out of Salmon Arm a few kilometres, in the direction of Kamloops / Chase / Sorrento. There will be an Esso gas station on the right of the Trans Canada Highway.
Description

This is great fresh water spring. Very cold and clean. Free and available 24/7.

“Many locals use this spring and know of it. The first time I went to find it, we got lost and just asked a nearby resident who gave us great directions. I heard of it from a friend of my dad’s who’s parents have used the spring for many years now.” – Andrea Wiens

Nearest Address

Manzer St., Mission, BC (off of Hwy #7)

Directions from Nearest Address

Off of Hwy #7, heading west from Mission towards Maple Ridge, turn right on Nelson St. (its a small street and if you miss it, take the next right on Chester, both streets work). Turn left on Silverdale, right on Gaglardi St., left on Donatelli and right on Manzer. (It’s a windy drive but only 6km’s long). From hwy 7, its 6km’s to the spring. When you get to Manzer St., you’ll drive until you see a sharp left turn, (there are 3 yellow arrows pointing left). Pull over on the right and the spring is right there (don’t turn left or you’ve passed it); there’s room for your car to park on the side.

Mountain runoff coming through pvc piping. Fresh clean amazing cold water!

This water is fantastic! It’s free and can be busy on the weekends. I’ve met and talked to others who have been drinking it for the last year or so. Some have tested the quality and say it’s very good.

Nearest Address

From Mission, 30 minutes East on Hwy 7, on the side of the mountain. From Abbotsford, if taking Hwy #1, about 1 hour. Take Bridal Falls exit past Chilliwack and follow signs for Hwy #7 West. Its marked by a yellow sign on a post on the side of the hwy.

Directions from Nearest Address

From Hwy #1 heading East, take Bridal Falls exit #135, about 10 minutes past Chilliwack. Pass Minter Gardens and follow the signs for Hwy #7 West for another 15 to 20 minutes. You’ll go through a small town called Agassiz. Eventually, you’ll pass a huge dairy farm on the right and the road will start to take you up a mountain. The spring is 3-4 minutes from the dairy farm. Look for a yellow sign on a post as the spring is kind of hidden (see pix). There’s room for a few vehicles to pull over on the side right next to the spring. Apparently there used to be a big statue that spouted water out but they took it down a while ago. If you’re coming from Mission, take the #7 East; it’s about a 30 minute drive. The spring will be on your left; if you descend the mountain, you’ve gone too far and passed it! Look for the little yellow sign on the post.

Directions from Nearest Address

The entrance gate to the spring is 5.2km from the intersection of Victoria Rd and Prairie Valley Rd in summerland BC. Drive north on Prairie Valley Rd as if you were driving to the towns landfill. There are signs along the way that point you to the landfill, the KVR(Kettle Valley Railroad, and the Summerland Rodeo Grounds. First you will pass the landfill. Keep going. Then you will pass the KVR. Right after that is a stop sign at the railroad tracks. On the other side of the tracks is the Rodeo Grounds. about 100 meters after the rodeo grounds is a little wooden bridge going over a creek. right after the bridge you turn left at the gate. drive in, and you will see a second gate up ahead on your left that leads to the spring. please be sure to close both gates when you live. the land is private, but the owners have no problems with people going there if you just keep the place clean and close the gates afterwards.
